Emergency First Aid @ Work
First aid can be crucial until the professionals take over.
This training course is for you if you are required to identify yourself as an emergency first aider in the workplace.

This is a one-day training and assessment course. You’ll learn the key techniques to administer first aid.
At the end of the course you will receive a certificate of training in Emergency First Aid at Work.
The course contains the following sessions:
• Introduction
• Incident management
• Unresponsive casualty
• Airway and breathing problems
• Circulation problems (Wounds and bleeding)
• Minor injuries.

First Aid at Work
Duration: 3 days or 18hrs
Carry out successful first aid at work with our recognised course.
This training course is for you if you have not attended a recognised first aid course, and are required to identify yourself as a first aider in the workplace.
You will learn the basic skills and knowledge of first aid, so you can administer simple but sometimes life-saving techniques in the workplace.
The finer details
This is a three-day theory and practical course which will give you the time to learn the basic skills and techniques of first aid.
There will be assessment and a certificate of training, plus you will be given a workbook to keep handy as a useful reference guide.
The course contains the following sessions:
• Introduction
• Incident management
• Unresponsive casualty
• Airway and breathing problems
• Circulation problems (Wounds and bleeding)
• Injuries to bones, muscles and joints
• Burns and scalds
• Major Illness.
Worth noting: First aid at work certificates are valid for three years and a two-day qualification course must be carried out within one month of expiry. Don’t leave it any longer or you’ll have to take a full first aid at work course.

Emergency First Aid at Work +F
Stay safe in the forest with our dedicated first aid training course.
If you work as part of a team in a forest setting, you’ll know there are special dangers to look out for. In the event of an emergency you will need the necessary skills and training to keep you and your colleagues safe.
The finer details
This is a full day attendance and assessed course where you’ll learn the theory and practical skills to perform first aid until the medical professionals take over.
This course builds on the required skills, knowledge and understanding from Emergency First Aid at Work to give you the critical breadth and depth you need in the Forestry industry.
At the end of the course you’ll get a certificate of training in Emergency First Aid at work +F.
Worth noting: Our course has been developed to comply with the Forestry Commission +F as per the First Aid at Work – Forestry Commission Policy and in consultation with Forestry Industry Safety Accord (FISA).

Paediatric First Aid

This comprehensive In-House training is ideal
for childcare professionals, including nursery staff, teachers, and childminders., it equips learners with the skills to manage emergency situations confidently
What You’ll Learn
This course covers essential first aid techniques for infants and children, including:

Assessing emergency situations and taking appropriate action

Managing unresponsive casualties, use of an AED.

Handling choking, seizures, fevers, burns, and other common incidents
-
Recognising and responding to anaphylaxis, asthma, and minor injuries
-
Providing care for children affected by extreme temperatures or medical emergencies
Full course is 12hrs
Emergency Paediatric First Aid 6hrs
Certificate valid for 3 years.
